Our Story
A family-run agency, built on decades of experience in Gateshead.
Ollie was buying, selling and investing in property across Gateshead, where he still owns a number of properties. He met Chloe, who spent a decade working as an estate agent in the area, helping local homeowners through their sales and getting to know Gateshead street by street.
Between them, they had seen how frustrating a move could become. Sellers could be won over by an ambitious valuation, only to find their home sitting on Rightmove with little explanation of what would happen next. Buyers could feel rushed, left chasing answers or unsure who to turn to when a problem came up.
They formed Whittaker Property Group to offer the service they wanted to see themselves. A family-run agency that looks after both sides of a sale, drawing on Ollie’s experience as a buyer and seller, Chloe’s estate agency experience, and the lessons they had learned along the way.
For sellers, that means an honest valuation backed by comparable local homes, a clear marketing plan and regular conversations about how the sale is going. For buyers, it means time to ask questions, clear information and someone who follows up.
Once an offer is agreed, the work continues. We stay involved with buyers and solicitors, help resolve the issues that can hold things up and keep you informed through to completion. Looking after the buyer matters to the seller too: both need the sale to move forward.
